WHAT IS PASSPORT
With the launch of the new system, residents of and visitors to Cincinnati are now able to manage and maximize their parking meter time through a simple app on their mobile phone.
Never worry about running back to feed the meter again
Add time (until the maximum allowed) and receive reminders
Get individual receipts or detailed reports of all transactions
Time purchased through the PassportParking app does not display on the meter. It is stored in the cloud and customers can see the remaining time directly on their phones. To learn more about enforcement, please see our Tickets & Enforcement page.
HOW DO I PAY
CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT
ENTER PAYMENT METHOD
There's no time-consuming account set-up with PassportParking. All it takes to get started is:
Enter your payment card details or automatically scan your card number.
The parking meter is now in your hand. Manage parking session details right from your phone.

Passport makes it easy to pay no matter what kind of phone you have.
WHERE CAN I
PAY BY PHONE?
Passport Mobile Pay is available at any spot operated by CincyEZPark. Look for these signs on your block or decal located at your meter for Zone and Space Numbers.
PARKING METER DECALS
HOW IT WORKS
Look at the smart meter’s display to find parking rates, hours, time limits, and other important information. If it is dark, press any button to light the display.
PAYING WITH COINS
If paying with coins, simply insert them in the coin slot until the desired time is reached on the display. Quarters, dimes, nickels, and $1 coins accepted.
PAYING WITH CARD
If paying electronically, insert and remove your credit or debit card. The smart meter accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
With the blue [+] and [-] buttons, select the amount of time. The cost for that time will be displayed underneath.
Press green [OK] button to confirm your payment, or red [CANCEL] button to stop your transaction. The meter will attempt to authorize the payment shown on the screen if neither button is pressed after 35 seconds.
Wait for authorization of the card.
If the card is approved, the display will show the amount of paid time and when it expires. If not approved, start over with another card or coins.

During these Holidays, special rates are charged at all City garages.
Also, Parking Meters are not enforced on the following days:
Third Monday in January
Last Monday in May
First Monday in September
Fourth Thursday in November
Be sure you've entered the correct Zone Number for your vehicle's parking space. Entering the wrong zone number may result in a parking citation.
WHAT IS A
A Zone Number identifies the area where you are parked. Zone numbers can be found on CincyEZPark signage and decals on the side of all CincyEZPark meters.

Local merchants will benefit significantly from the CincyEZPark system. Increased meter availability and turnover will encourage more visits to businesses and reduce the amount of time spent on people asking for coins to feed the meter. Not only that, but additional revenues generated by the City will be used to improve sidewalks and street lighting, thereby improving the Cincinnati experience and drawing more customers to the area.
